Quick run on Saturday, 4/17/10

This will be a quick run for anyone who wants to go up and see the scenic views of the valley by the Raccoon Mountain pumped storage station. We’ll be back in time for poker at Ron’s (which is at 7 p.m. — RSVP on the forum) for the people who are playing. Departure at 5 sharp, return about 6:30ish. It’s about a 20 minute drive each direction which means plenty of time for pictures and looking around.

Depart from the Taco Mamacita/Family Dollar parking lot on North Market Street (where the old Durty Nelly’s was). Here is a map: (click here)

See you then!

If it rains will the run still be on?

Yes, because the chance of rain is not too great and it will likely be scattered and earlier in the day if it does anything at all. We’ll still have a good chance of having a dry Raccoon Mountain by 5 p.m.

From Accuweather.com today: “A shower in spots in the morning; otherwise, cooler with clouds and sun.”

Hope to be there and get to meet a few folks. Just got my MX-5 about two weeks ago and hope to do a thing or two with the club..Yellow 09 that did not sell in 09. Bought it in from a dealer in TX. then got to know it driving it back home to Hixson TN.

You’re welcome! Congrats on the purchase. You are now the second Competition Yellow 2009 model in our club!
